a sweet surprise

mon2

I love surprises more than anything, but a good one is pretty darn hard to pull off. A few of my closest gal pals pulled off a really great early birthday dinner surprise for me this past weekend and it was just perfect. Too much wine and laughing too loud for a nice restaurant with some of your favorite people is the best kind of Saturday night.

The rest of my weekend consisted of some work + some play, a bit of jewelry organizing, testing out my new-to-me vintage leather trench, dreaming of warmer weather while sipping on drinks in my bicycle glasses, and playing with some fun new goodies {like the Zoya pixie dust polish + fashion postcard book + leather jewelry roll that helps keep my baubles in place both at home and while traveling}.
