It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…at least in my apartment. The tree(s) are up, along with some ornaments and lights – although there’s many more of each to come. Nightly lit Christmas-tree candles + frequent holiday-esque cocktails (my current go-to is a red wine + sparkling cider + splash of vodka + fresh cranberries + basil cocktail) + the most fancy looking boxed wine I’ve ever found, sets the scene for impromptu holiday parties all season long.

Tis the season for sparkle, sequins, shine, and glitt-ah. While warm weather warms my heart, over-the-top dressing does just as much. Layers of clothing, cold weather accessories, and a sort of more-is-more dressing philosophy is almost necessary to stay warm during chilly days. I like to be comfortable but dressed up most days – this rings true year-round, but with the holiday season in the air no excuse is a perfect excuse to get extra gussied up. Here’s my current lust list of perfectly appropriate {anytime} attire right now.
