In this edition of ‘must or lust,’ I had to showcase the newest addition to my skirt collection. I spotted this river island polka dot pencil skirt on Asos awhile back and it was instantly in my cart. The second it arrived I knew I’d made a good purchase, but it was confirmed even more when I spotted this identical version by Prabal Gurung. See the last ‘must or lust’ black sandals post here.

I’m all about multitasking, especially when it comes to my clothes. This simple (and supremely soft) tank dress is part of the Loomstate 321 collection, meaning there are 3 ways to wear 1 dress. It’s not only reversible, but can literally be worn backwards (without seeming to appear that way!) I first wore it out for a casual after work drink but am looking forward to flipping it around and dressing it up.
the quick getaway

There’s something about getting out of town – even if it’s not that far away – that puts every sense into vacation mode. I settled quite well into it this past weekend thanks to afternoon sangrias on a rooftop patio, ordering apple pie via room service, and shopping as if I hadn’t been to a store in years. Memorial Day weekend always seems to be the official start of summer, and I couldn’t be happier my favorite season is here.
