I will be ringing in 2012 in Dallas this weekend; my girlfriend and I decided to take a little road trip to celebrate the new year in this big fun southern city. We left on Wednesday for our 5 night adventure, and so far are loving this place. Cheers to you and Happy New Year! {we are well aware we packed enough to move here for a month!}

2011 has been a big year. A couple trips to NYC, ran a half marathon, visited Napa Valley, celebrated several friends weddings, ran on the beach on Hilton Head Island, had a photo in Lucky, quit my job and started a new one I love, met my love Brad Goreski {and Rodger!} and more. I feel lucky and blessed, and can’t thank you enough-dear readers-for all the love, support, and sweet comments. Cheers to an even bigger, brighter, more sequin-filled 2012!

I loved my super long Christmas break, full of lots of family time, coffee dates with old friends, eating too much delicious food, and relaxing while taking in every Christmas movie I could. Some of my favorite gifts I received include a darling {+ functional!} Kate Spade thermos, Jenny Han sequin polka dot dress, and the softest gray faux fur coat. What did Santa bring you this year?
