I’m taking a cue from all things J Crew this season-look at these beautiful clothes! Looking forward to trying out some of these looks, like dressing down a sequin skirt with a denim button down + flats, cropped pants + heels, loafers + tights, and unexpected printed and colored pants.

Since the middle of last week, I enjoyed a little hiatus from my laptop and it gave me extra time to catch up with old friends, squeeze in a little shopping, lounge around the house in cozy sweatpants, and get organized. I also enjoyed too many mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie-both of which I’m helpless against getting second servings of…or thirds. While unfortunately {and as usual} I got zero Christmas shopping done, I picked up a couple new additions to my closet, including this gorgeous Ann Taylor tank top covered in oversized sequins. I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving, and scored some great finds as well {I always love to know what other people shop for-let me know what goodies you scored!}

It’s officially Thanksgiving week, which means it’s holiday party season time {aka, sequin-wearing season!}. Today, some party inspiration to add just a little something extra. Set up an (indoor!) margarita bar or have mustache straws on hand-and you’re sure to be the most memorable of hostesses.
