I kicked off the first official weekend of summer by relaxing, boating, and sipping margaritas all weekend long at a beautiful lake home in Oklahoma. Highlights included amazing food like the tomato cheese torte we feasted on, lounging by the pool overlooking the lake catching up on magazines, spotting a man riding a wave runner with his dog (a huge yellow lab..it was a site to see), and boating to lunch on the lake for grilled fish sandwiches and arnold palmer cocktails. The majority of my weekend at the lake was spent in my swimsuit, romper, flip flops, and sunnies…which is my definition of a perfect midwest summer weekend.
