After recently cleaning out my closet, I was able to really evaluate what I had and what was missing from my wardrobe. One element I was most noticeably missing was a variety of belts. Although something as small as a belt could seem insignificant, they really truly change the entire look of an outfit, or can pull one entirely together. While I often see belts I like while shopping, at the time I can never think of what I’d wear them with. But then when trying things on from my closet, I constantly think it could be that much better with a belt. So while in Chicago last week I made sure to load up on some skinny belts, my favorites being a bright yellow and bright navy from H&M. I also needed a new pair of summer sandals, and found this darling bow pair at Forever 21. Finally, in anticipation of summer I decided these high-waisted printed shorts from MintLA boutique were the perfect first pair of the season.

Kiley, I LOVE those shorts! They are such a fun print, and with so many colors in them they can be paired with so much! I find myself often saying the same thing about belts – until I stocked up on a few this past fall. Definitely closet must-haves!

i have the same exact problem with belts so i have been trying to stock up without thinking too much about it. i love H&M and F21 for that bc their belts are so cheap, i dont feel bad about stocking up without really knowing how i will wear them yet.
