*sparkle mod podge to add a little extra ‘something’ to a very fun DIY project

It’s been an unusually long week and the weekend can’t come soon enough. I’m looking forward to weekend plans of a long overdue girls night out and celebrating a friends leap year birthday a bit early. All through elementary school, I had 2 kids in my class who were leap year babies-both were born on February 29th. I’ve always been such a fan of my own birthday that I remember thinking what a bummer it would be to only celebrate on your actual birthday once every 4 years! Here are a few things that made my week a little brighter.
*my new juicy couture iphone cover-part functional (rubber) part fabulous (glittery)
*my favorite candy ever, in it’s Easter version. it even says ‘candiar’ on the box-like candy caviar. luckily, it’s just as yummy as the classic fish shape.

*an early birthday present from a co-worker (super cute Juicy headband adorned with vintage looking rhinestones) who was so excited about it she couldn’t wait the extra 9 days until my actual birthday to give it to me.

*it’s only available for a limited time around this time of year. do yourself a delicious favor and indulge in a (weekly?!) shamrock shake from McDonalds.

oooh, it’s shamrock shake time! ok, and what a nice co-worker–love that headband!
I’m not an ice cream person, but then again Shamrock Shakes aren’t *really* ice cream anyway which is probably why I LIVE for them this time of year! A few years back when I was still up in NYC I even ran around the entire city trying to find a McDonald’s that had them. To my shock and horror, not only did no one carry them, but everyone I asked had never even heard of them! On that note, I think I’ll be making a pit stop to grab one today.
… And maybe some Swedish Fish too.
The headband is so lovely! Can’t wait to see it on you! So, what does the shake taste like?
minty, vanilla-y, heavenly! even if you don’t like mint like me-try one and i promise you’ll love it!
