weekend of food

I hope I’m not the only one still recovering from a Thanksgiving food coma. I have soaked up every minute of these past few food filled days and am feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready to welcome the holidays with open arms. My weekend revolved around eating loads of food, and not just on Turkey Day. I have been entirely too giddy about my latest grocery store find, which I last had in college and have been unable to find for the past 4 years-until now. It does not matter if you are a Peep fan…these sugar cookie dough peeps are pure bliss.

The good food weekend continued with a delicious dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, catching up with friends over margaritas, and despite my aversion to Black Friday chaos, I ventured out to the shops just for a bit. Amazingly, other than an iced coffee, I walked away without a single purchase.

Finally, I started to pull our some of my favorite holiday decor. I can’t wait to trim the tree with these vintage ornaments I picked up while at a flea market last summer.

Cheers to Cyber Monday! Please do tell if you know about a ‘can’t miss’ deal today-spread the love!
